Project Description

Labrador Tower is Singapore’s newest waterfront office development, representing a new generation of conscious office engineering, where sustainability, connectivity and workplace wellness are at the heart of the design. The recently completed SGD $400m project was led by an accomplished team of industry leaders in the region, designed by B+H Architects and Surbana Jurong Group, landscaped by Grant Associates and constructed by Greater Resources M&E. Located just 10 minutes from the CBD and a short stroll from MRT stations and bus stops, the tower provides hyper-connected, light-filled office spaces with flexible layouts and impressive sea views.

Adjacent to the Berlayer Creek Boardwalk, the development integrates landscaped areas to encourage work–life balance and connection with nature. Labrador Tower recently achieved Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certification, by utilising Singapore Power (SP) Group’s sustainable energy solutions to optimise energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and deliver long-term sustainable performance.

After presenting our tailored solutions, MM Kembla project specific warranties and a fixed price at the design stage; SP Group selected Kembla’s quality copper tube as an essential requirement for this high-profile project, completed with over 65 tonne of Kembla copper tube.

Contractor | Great Resources M&E

Delivered by Great Resources M&E, a leading mechanical and engineering contractor in Singapore, the project relied on MM Kembla copper tube in their integrated piping systems for the building’s critical plumbing and mechanical infrastructure. Kembla Copper was selected for its proven reliability, compliance with fire and electrical standards, and long-term durability.

When it came down to suppliers, SP Group highlighted the importance of certainty and traceability in engineering decisions, particularly for a high-profile and sustainable office precinct. An SP representative explained,

For a building of this scale and significance, reliability is paramount. Kembla copper provides us with traceability, compliance, and a proven history to go with it.”

Consequently, Labrador Tower represents a new generation of conscious office engineering by combining sustainability, connectivity, and wellness with reliable, long-lasting infrastructure. The completed development sets a new benchmark for Singapore’s office landscape, delivering efficient, inspiring, and future-ready workspaces for tenants and employees alike equipped with,

  • Sustainable, cost-efficient operations via Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certification
  • Critical infrastructure reliability supported by proven copper piping solutions
  • Traceable, compliant, low-risk system optimised for long-term performance
  • Integrated support and project warranty from MM Kembla

By integrating Kembla copper tube and piping systems, the project benefited from efficient installation, on-going compliance assurance, and long-term system reliability. The scale and complexity of the development meant that having a trusted supplier with strong supply chain capability, warranties, and on-site support was essential to minimise project risk, support a successful project outcome and ensure the systems would stand the test of time.
